Job Summary
The SaaS Sales Manager plays a key role in driving revenue growth by leading the sales team in acquiring and retaining customers for our cloud-based solutions. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and expertise in managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, while ensuring long-term customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a SaaS-specific sales strategy to increase customer acquisition and revenue.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring targets are met.
- Identify and pursue enterprise and mid-market prospects, leveraging outbound and inbound sales strategies.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts to maximize upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term adoption.
- Monitor and analyze SaaS metrics, including ARR, MRR, CAC, and churn rate, to optimize strategies.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor movements, and customer needs.
- Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage the pipeline and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, reports, and recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in SaaS sales, with a track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a sales team.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Deep understanding of SaaS sales cycles, subscription-based pricing models, and customer retention strategies.
- Experience with CRM platforms and sales automation tools.
- Ability to analyze data, forecast trends, and make data-driven decisions.
